My husband (age 50) is a disabled former vet and firefighter who suffers from fibromyalgia, PTSD, nerve damage, and chronic pain & fatigue. One of his worst symptoms is migraines, which have not responded to medication or any other kind of treatment. Before using Q Magnets his pain level was 9 on a scale of 10. Within 15 days of using the Q Magnets, the pain level went down to 3.
When my husband gets a migraine, he wears a magnet on each temple and one in the low center of his forehead, and usually adds two in the back of neck as well. We joke about his being Robot Man but he is happy to go along with any jokes, because the reduction in pain is so great — and such a relief. In addition, he commonly wears two magnets down at his sacrum/lumbar spine to help regulate his nervous system and reduce fibromyalgia pain.
We also bought the Q Blankets, which are used as magnetic mattress pads and live permanently on the couch for him to sit and lie on. He still suffers, but, in a decade of struggle, the magnets have been by far the most helpful therapy he’s tried — more helpful than opioids, injections, TENS machines, pressure point devices, or any other modality.
What we liked most about using Q magnets is the near-immediate reduction of pain and no side effects. Sometimes, when he wakes up with a bad migraine or pain spell, my husband will be incapacitated on the couch, barely able to move, and then he or I will remember the magnets, which literally gets him off the couch like a shot in the arm, because he knows he will feel better soon… within a half-hour or so of putting on the magnets he will begin to feel pain reduction; several hours after that the migraine will have mostly receded. At other times, when he’s able to put on the magnets at the beginning of a migraine, he often speaks of having “caught it” in time before it becomes runaway pain. I wore them myself for four days straight, to great effect, when I tweaked my lower back; I’ll be buying more for my father, who has a long-standing shoulder injury. We cannot recommend Q Magnets more highly. Everyone with a body should try them.
