Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is an effective, non-invasive and drug-free way to self-manage pain. A TENS machine such as the AllCare Digital Programmable TENS machine provides pain relief by low intensity electrical stimulation. Simply place the treatment coils near the area of pain or pressure point and target the underlying nerve fibers. The machine is easy to maintain and uses standard 9V batteries.
This TENS machine has 2 channels with memory function that can store the treatment time used by the patients. The therapist can then check the units to make sure the unit is used as suggested. This device has a large liquid crystal display and press buttons, which is a great design for people who have difficulty reading the small inscription on the panel or turning the small dials.
This TENS machine can also be used along with Q Magnets, simply placed them over TENS pads when in use.
