American Football NFL Players Recover Faster With Q Magnets

The 2017 American football season is almost here…..finally. Camp starts for some of the finest gladiators in the NFL.  In training camp, there is lots of hitting and explosive work.  This inevitably results in a wide variety of injuries.

As a healthcare practitioner, you watch the guys you work with depart for their respective teams.  At that point they are out of your hands and if anything happens, there is nothing you can do personally.  That’s why I make sure the players have their own Q magnets when they leave.

Professional athlete shares 7 year journey with Q magnets

Over the years we have received many endorsements from famous athletes and health professionals around the world. This well considered feedback from Nick Kenny would have to be one of the most significant for three reasons. Nick…

  1. Is a professional when it comes to musculoskeletal health AND was a professional Rugby League player for 9 years.
  2. Played the toughest of sports and supplemented his rehab with Q magnets.
  3. As a health professional has observed the benefits of Q magnets on other players around him and not just himself.

Using Q magnets and magnetic field therapy for heel pain (minor plantar surface foot pain)…

Plantar surface foot pain (not to be confused with heel spurs) is a common complaint from many an athlete, both young and old. Pain can be caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia, a ligament that runs under the foot from the heel bone to the toes.

Pain from inflammation and minor sprains and strains is where Q magnets can potentially provide comfort or localized temporary relief of minor aches and pains. Hopefully helping you get back to your sport sooner.

Using Q magnets to Help Recover from Minor Hamstring Strain

Hamstring strains are one of the athlete’s worst nightmares. A typical hamstring strain can sideline an athlete for 2-4 weeks and even up to 3-6 months. In addition the pain and fear avoidance of using the muscle can prevent even modest training during rehabilitation. Fast recovery is the goal!

The hamstring comprises four muscles, with the origin at the ischial tuberosity (pelvis) and insertion at the knee. There are also five tendons joining muscle and bone.

A hamstring strain can occur anywhere along these muscles and tendons and often at the muscular tendenous junction. Typical treatment might include rest, ice, electrotherapy, stretches, manual therapy and advice to prevent recurrence. For an in-depth review of hamstring strains, see this physiotherapy site.
