The pain was like having a bulldog clip pinching the skin very tightly and it was shooting in different directions.

Stephanie Kennar

In late June 2008, I visited my GP as I was experiencing thoracic pain around my ribs and under my right arm pit. The GP referred me immediately to the Mercy Breast Unit where I saw Dr Elaine Bevington. I was reassured somewhat by the ultrasound results but the pain started to intensify.

Over the next month the pain became unbearable and I saw 4 different GP’s seeking answers. The pain was like having a bulldog clip pinching the skin very tightly and it was shooting in different directions. No one could confidently identify the cause of the pain which was somewhat complicated as the ultrasound was clear. At this time I was taking up to 10 Nurofen Plus per day but this would only slightly take the edge off the pain.

Extreme skeptic … converted!!!

At a recent inservice at our Victorian clinic, Dianne converted me from an extreme skeptic to a true believer.  I have suffered from intermittent pain from two worn lumbar spine levels since 1988.  Although I have few acute episodes recently I do have chronic stiffness and aching.  I have had very little Lumbar extension for several years.  As a true skeptic of magnets I sat at the back of the room adamantly unconvinced about magnets.  When Dianne requested volunteers to try our the magnets I jumped at the chance … mainly to prove it to not work.  To cut a long story short … if the feeling of Lumbar extension with no pain after 10 minutes didn’t convince me.   The audible gasp from the “audience” in response to my post magnet application Lumbar extension range of movement definitely did!!!!

Can’t wait to start sharing this new technology. Claire

Q magnets helping me sleep

I use the magnets every day. I had back surgery 3 yrs ago and it fixed the greater part of my pain, but at night when I lay down some nerves are still under pressure and the magnets take care of the pain, som I can sleep. I have several magnets that I bought from Amway here in the US but they have stopped selling the magnets. Amway still sells the stickies to put the magnets on with and they work great for yours, too. I have also found that the magnets work on my restless leg syndrome. Gay Osborn. Montana
